Is there a software that a Vietnamese teenager can use at home to learn English?

She is already going to an American public school, reading books, watching DVD movies with subtitles and a dictionary, and practicing with me whenever I have the time. I've heard of programs like Rosetta Stone or Pimsleur, but they are for native English speakers to learn other languages. Is there anything similar that non-English speakers can use to learn English? Either in CD format or computer software that can help her further learn English to supplement what's she's already doing. - Thanks

There are lots of software for all foreigners to learn English on their computer. If you want to be able to translate from Vietnamese, check out the links below.
Reply:Hello,

Rosetta Stone has a special edition that is called 'homeschool'. It is mostly for children and it is very good.

You could also try Tell me More.

These methods are advertised to be suitable for people who doesn't understand the language at all.

Personaly, I wouldn't prefere Primsleur for the fact that it it only CD;s you only hear and it hasn't an organised plan with exercises like Rosetta or Tell me More.

There is also an on'line programme for kids (and teens) with an annual fee, that is called Mingoville. It is translating in many languages.

Good luck!
