I work for a large software company in the SF Bay Area. I have been working in the software industry for almost ten years, the last three in strategy. Many of my peers have come from McKinsey or BCG, commonly from an engagement manager or project lead role.
What is the average salary for someone working in corporate strategy in the software industry?

If it is business development, it probably has a bonus component and the base is around $135K
