I am offering services like designing flyers, leaflets and all sorts for my local businesses, but I dont want to use publisher as the results do not even come close to what the businesses have done profesionally! Can anyone recommend what software would offer better designs?

adobe, you can get free trial period for 30 days ,

Reply:the 2 main ones are photoshop,quark express, illustator.
although a lot of designers i know are mac based.
they obvious use flash / dreamweaver etc if they do web design as well.
Reply:Professional graphic designers generally use ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, FLASH, ADOBE AFTER-EFFECTS, DREAMWEAVER while desinging.
