I want to try my hand at making fan videos (not sure of the correct term) and would like to know what kind of computer software is used to make them.
What kind of software is used to make fan videos such as those seen on Youtube?
Windows built in Movie Maker is perfect for beginner's. Once you get the hang of it move on to a Third-Party Application because Movie Makers graphics become quite repetitive. Unless you download the extras for it.

If you have Windows Vista you can stick with it as long as you get some of the fan-made extras!
