I need the best software for professional photo slideshow creation, but not all the way to Adobe Premiere. I need something that is easy to work with but has many effects and looks clean.

If that is too steep for your pocketbook, you can start out with ProShow Gold, which at $70 is also excellent, but lacks the customizable interface of Producer. The results of ProSho Gold are no less impressive than Producer, but producer has some effects it doesn't, most notable branding of the output, so that there is no opening page saying "photodex", but instead, your own company.

Reply:Try PICASA from Google. It's FREE and you can download it now. They have a neat Slideshow feature. PICASA is a great easy to use editor of photos, cataloger and slideshow maker. Try it.





Go to www.google.com and then click on the "More..." and finally check on downloads. Then look for Picasa.
