What is a good software to purchase for making my home videos into DVDs?

I have a DVD burner on my computer, but am not happy with the limitied options on the Windows Movie Maker 2.1

I want something more. Please provide links to the software if possible.

Provide your own personal feedback if you have used the program.

I'd recommend Nero Suite of programs. Nero Vision in particular allows you to edit movies and such. I personally like Nero to burn and rip DVDs. It won't rip copy protected DVDs, but if you have an old home video you want to re-edit, you can rip that.

At the other end of the spectrum are the Adobe type programs. They cost a bunch of money, but there's endless features. If you can properly use them all lol.

iMovie on Mac is something I've used for school, it's really easy, but I believe it's Mac only.

Anyhow, here's the Wiki page that lists just a bunch of programs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_editi...
