After several years in medical billing for home health agencies and hospitals, I am looking to start my own billing agency. I would like to know which software is preferred by smaller agencies as the software I now use for my employer costs many thousands of dollars to purchase.

medisoft is the best. it will cost you about 3k but it is the industry standard.
Reply:Medisoft is the most complicated software I have seen. You should try sequel based systems. I use Data Strategies...Eligence and it works great I have 18 office my company bills for internet based and great to work on and very user friendly. Report It
Reply:Medisoft is popular but old looking and complicated. I used it for a couple of years but last year I started using SydaMED from sydasoft.com. It is MS SQL database is powerful and it includes so many useful reports. I found it so easy to work with. It also looks great! Report It
